How can I register? Is registration free?

Yes, registration is FREE. Just click on “New User?” on the top right and you’re good to go. Still uncertain? Read the step-by-step guide.
 

Why do I need to register before posting an ad?

Simple. ST701 rolls out new features from time to time and we would like to share them with you! Your particulars, especially your email address, are important communication means by which we can reach you.
 
In addition, you create a profile for potential buyers to contact you when you register. They are also more likely to regard you as a reliable seller.
 

I’ve successfully registered and entered a valid email address. However I have not received the validation email. Why is this so and what should I do?

This is probably because your email provider has classified the validation email as spam. Send an email to st701@sph.com.sg and we will activate the account on your behalf.
 

How do I change my password?

Login with your username and old password and you can change your password under My ST701 – Profile.

You can change your account details and password in Profile. Do remember to update your User Profile and upload your personal image as well.
 
Ads
Manage your Ads with our neatly categorised tabs, namely Published, Saved, Expired and Sold. You will be able to Edit, Copy, Mark-as-Sold your ads with ease. Never will your ads go missing again.
 
Messages
You can receive regular promotions, events and new feature updates from us through your mailbox.
 
Comparisons Comparisons
It is no longer necessary to open two internet windows just to compare items. You can do it hassle-free with Comparisons. Up to three items are available for comparison in one table. You will be able to make a more informed choice and get your stuff that you really want or need!
 
Favourites Favourites
Get a list of all your favourite ads here! It’s not only fast and easy, it is also the most convenient way of bookmarking that particular item you have been eyeing on many months ago! You will also be notified if the item is going to expire.
 
Saved Searches Saved Searches
If you have a particular item that you search for every time you login to ST701.com, you can save yourself the trouble of setting your search criteria again. Saved Searches contains the list(s) of searches that you have saved. An updated search result will be displayed each time you run your saved search.
 
Just Ask
ST701 values your contributions to our Just Ask section. We have saved your list of posted questions and answers in Just Ask so that you can refer to them in the future.
 
Email Alerts
Create up to 5 email alerts per vertical (Cars, Property, Shops). Customise and streamline what best suits your needs by entering the information you deem fit according to categories available. You’ll be notified of relevant products/services whenever there’s a match!
 

I’ve forgotten my password. Help?

If you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot Password?” at the login page. Enter your Username and the email address you have registered with us and an email containing your password will be sent to you.
 

Can I change my username after I have registered?

No, you cannot change your username. You can only change your personal particulars, password, your password help question and answer and user profile.
 

How can I change my contact details in ST701?

Login and go to Profile in My ST701 and click on ‘Update Account’.
 

I’ve changed my email address. How can I update it in my account?

After signing in, go to Profile in My ST701. Click on ‘Update Account’ and you can proceed to replace your existing email address with the new email address.
 

How do I subscribe to/unsubscribe from the ST701 newsletter?

To subscribe to our ST701 newsletter, sign up as a ST701 member and you will be given the option to subscribe.

To unsubscribe from our newsletter, click on the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of your newsletter email. This will lead you to a page where you can choose to receive job alerts, our newsletter or neither of the two.

Alternatively, you can email to st701@sph.com.sg to unsubscribe from our newsletter.
 

Can I use debit card or Nets to pay for my transactions?

No, we only accept credit cards.
