1. Is there a registration deadline?
We offer special rates for individuals who register early. Once the regular rate is in effect (after early bird period), registration closes at 2pm on the day before the workshop or seminar. Participants who register after the deadline will be considered as walk-in and the terms in Point 2 apply.
2. Can I register on the day of workshop?
We recommend pre-registration to make sure there are sufficient workshop manuals on site. We do allow walk-in registrations when space allows, but admittance cannot be guaranteed. For walk-in registrations, only cash payment will be accepted. Price is inclusive of GST.
3. Is payment strictly through credit card?
For individual sign-ups: Yes. Cash or cheque payments from participants are not encouraged. If required, please email email@example.com for assistance.
For corporate sign-ups: Cheque payments are encouraged. All payment MUST be fully made before the commencement of the seminar / workshop. If required, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Please note that all payments are non-refundable.
4. How will I know my registration is confirmed?
Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a confirmation email containing details of the workshop/seminar including meeting location, date, time and other additional instructions.
5. When will I receive my confirmation email?
You should receive your confirmation email within 4 working days from the day of registration.
6. Where can I collect the tickets?
We will send you a confirmation email, which you must produce together with your NRIC/Passport for admission on the day of the seminar/ workshop.
7. Is the workshop free seating?
Yes. Registrants should come in early for preferred seats.
8. What if I register for the workshop and then find out I can't attend?
You can find a substitute to take your place, please see point 11 for further instructions.
We regret to inform that no refunds in fee payment will be made for cancellations or no-shows.
9. What if I forget to bring my confirmation email?
You can produce your NRIC/ passport and the credit card used for payment of this workshop. But it will be ideal to have your confirmation email to reduce registration time.
10. Can I attend the workshop that was registered under my friend's name?
Yes, but you need an authorisation letter, confirmation email and a photocopy of NRIC/ passport of the person who has signed up for the workshop. We will also require your NRIC/ passport for verification. Please note that we have the right to refuse admission without proper identification.
11. Can I claim for carpark fee?
No. Vehicles cannot be parked within SPH premises. You may park your vehicle at the URA carparks situated around News Centre.
12. Are there meal breaks?
Yes, the fee includes one tea break for the seminar and two tea breaks and a lunch for a full day workshop. Food is halal.
13. Can I bring my camera / video camera / voice recorder?
No. The copyright of the workshop is strictly SPH's.
