A private message is a message sent to the seller of the product or service of the ad without having to disclose his/her email address. The seller will receive the message in his/her inbox and the message can only be seen by the seller and no one else.
When you are viewing an ad, click on the “Send private message to seller” link under the full name of the seller in the Seller Profile.
Private messaging may have been suspended because you had violated certain guidelines. You will receive an email from us stating the reason of suspension.
Your private messages are sent to “My Messages” in My ST701.
Once you login to ST701, there will be a notification on the top right hand corner of the main page of each vertical informing you of your new messages in “My Messages”.
I received an email notification that I have a private message but I can’t view it. Why is this so?
Your inbox may be full. We have a capacity of 50 messages so you need to delete some of your messages in order to receive new ones.
Can anyone who send/ receive private messages from me view my email address?
No, both the private messages and email address are not visible to the public. Only the Username can be seen.
